Citygate conducted a law enforcement feasibility study for the City of Palmdale, including an analysis of the City’s current public safety services and programs, to determine whether its current model is sustainable and whether modification of the City’s current strategies and programs should be considered. Based on this analysis, Citygate offered additional strategies for the City’s consideration. For this engagement, Citygate administered a public survey regarding current public safety programs and satisfaction and reviewed the City’s law enforcement services contract with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD). Citygate identified areas of improvement for staffing non-sworn community safety programs and provided sensible, cost-effective enhancements for the City’s consideration.

Scope of work: A law enforcement feasibility study for the City of Palmdale. The study will include an analysis of the City’s current public safety services and programs to determine whether its current model is sustainable, whether modification of the City’s current strategies and programs should be considered and offer additional strategies the City should consider. For this engagement, Citygate will administer a public survey regarding current public safety programs and satisfaction and will perform an analysis which includes an examination of the City’s public safety in conjunction with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) law enforcement service contract. Citygate will identify areas of improvement for staffing non-sworn community safety programs and explore the potential for sensible, cost-effective enhancements.
