Citygate was retained to conduct a review of the Verdugo Fire Communications Center’s cost-allocation structure and policies for the City of Glendale, CA. For this engagement, Citygate analyzed the cost-to-expense apportionment framework and needed policies related to operating and capital expenses before preparing a cost-sharing model update.

In partnership with Mission Critical Partners, Citygate conducted an objective operational assessment of the Verdugo Fire Communications Center to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of services and ensure compliance with policies/procedures, best practices, and regulatory agencies. The resultant Strategic Plan provides a granular path of engagement related to complex, long-term goals, with manageable initiatives utilizing the concept of “gradual progress” to incrementally assist VFCC with ongoing implementation and improvement efforts in a way that promotes long-term, sustainable success for staff and stakeholders.
